Connect GitHub to build services from repositories and use infrastructure as code. Ryvn uses a GitHub App installation for repository access. GitHub App installation and repository access are configured through the dashboard and GitHub. The CLI does not provide commands to install the app or change its repository permissions.

Configure the connection

1

Start the installation

Open Settings > Connections > GitHub and click Install GitHub App.
2

Choose an account and repositories

In GitHub, select the account or organization that owns your repositories. Review the app’s requested permissions and select the repositories Ryvn should access. Complete the installation or request approval from a GitHub organization administrator.
3

Verify in Ryvn

Return to Settings > Connections > GitHub and check that the account appears. You can now create a service from a GitHub repository or configure a Git sync repository.

Change repository access

Use the settings control beside the connected account to open the GitHub App’s installation settings. Add or remove repository access there. If a repository is missing in Ryvn, confirm the app is installed on its owning account and that the repository is included in the installation’s allowed repositories. Check whether your GitHub organization still needs to approve the installation.

Disconnect an account

Use the disconnect control beside the account and review the confirmation before continuing. Builds and Git sync that depend on this connection need working repository access. Check those consumers before disconnecting.
